Invisible scars
The scar in the armpit is one of the least detectable of all breast augmentation procedures. Axillary breast augmentation is not very painful
The discomfort that results from the procedure is similar to other implant methods. The pain is mainly due to the submuscular breast augmentation, the implants in front of the muscle in the subfascial position being much less painful.

How is an axillary augmentation performed?
It begins with a short incision placed in a natural crease high up in the armpit. Dr Christophe Desouches limits the incision to only 3 to 4 cm in length. Through this incision, it creates a space in front of or behind the pectoral muscle to accommodate the implant. The axillary incision is located at the edge of the muscle, giving the surgeon direct access to the implant site, without touching the muscle or the breast itself
He then inserts test implants (sizer) in order to select the ideal size of the implant. Once the ideal size is confirmed, the sizers are removed and the permanent breast implants placed. The incision is closed with deep stitches which slowly subside without any visible threads on the skin.
The type of implant used by Dr Christophe Desouches is generally a round implant based on cohesive silicone gel without texturing (smooth implant)
