The face, neck and décolleté are important and fragile parts of female beauty. In fact, from the age of thirty one can notice sagging skin, loss of volume or wrinkles which alter the natural elegance.
Dr Christophe Desouches offers you a comprehensive and tailor-made approach to rejuvenating and beautifying the face using aesthetic medicine, in particular with hyaluronic acid injections.
Hyaluronic acid, creator of beauty
The hyaluronic acid injections do not only allow to restore youth but also to improve the criteria of beauty of a face.
It is possible to restore proportions and create balance in every face.
This requires a fine knowledge of the rules of harmony and proportions.
Notable results in one session and without surgery
The injections discreetly and naturally improve the tired appearance of the treated areas, face, neck or décolleté. They do not interfere with muscle mobility and therefore there is no effect on facial expressions.
However, while the areas treated with the injections are generally much improved, some deep, old wrinkles cannot be fully corrected.
The duration of action varies according to the products, the areas to be treated, the injection technique, the type of skin and the lifestyle. Usually the correction fades after 6 to 18 months and the treatment must be repeated to maintain the results.
Hyaluronic acid: what is it exactly?
It is found involved in many rejuvenation and beautification procedures on the face, neck, silhouette and intimate areas.
It is a substance naturally present in the skin. It is a polysaccharide whose main function is to hydrate the dermis. The finished product is supplied in pre-filled ampoules. It appears as a transparent gel that is injected into the skin tissue to smooth fine lines, correct deeper wrinkles, or restore facial volume. This product is completely absorbable. It is not of animal origin but is the result of a synthesis. It has been used for many years without risk in various therapeutic applications in ophthalmology and rheumatology.
What happens during a session ?
In the days before the injection, it is recommended not to take medication that alters blood fluidity (aspirin, anti-inflammatories, etc.) in order to reduce the risk of hematomas.
Anesthesia may be administered before treatment using an anesthetic cream or, more rarely, injectable xylocaine.
Hyaluronic acid is injected with a fine needle into the dermis, beneath the wrinkle, to lift the base of the wrinkle. To restore facial volume, the injection will be deeper and of greater volume.
After injection of hyaluronic acid
During the days following the treatment, exposure to extreme cold or intense heat (sunbathing, spa, etc.) is not recommended. However, no socio-professional eviction is to be anticipated, you can resume your work or your social activities at the end of the session.
Mild swelling and redness usually occur. The final result is visible after the swelling has disappeared.
The duration of the result depends on the type of hyaluronic acid used and the area treated.
A new injection is usually necessary after 6 to 12 months.
