If the aging of the upper eyelids is manifested by excess skin, that of the lower eyelids is manifested above all by an excess of fat which bulges the skin of the eyelid resulting in "pockets" which give the look a tired appearance.<\/p>\n

These pockets are sometimes familial and appear from the age of 30.<\/p>\n

They aggravate the natural hollow located at the junction between the cheek and the eyelid which is called the ring.<\/p>\n

Remember to hydrate! Avoid too heavy treatments, favor draining products.<\/p>\n

The medical approach<\/h2>\n

Aesthetic medicine corrects all wrinkles and fine lines in the eyes and thus makes it possible to beautify the eyelids.<\/p>\n

Aesthetic medicine can be an alternative to conventional surgery (blepharoplasty).<\/p>\n

But not only, in fact injections can also be performed for acts complementary to eye correction surgery.<\/p>\n

The surgical approach<\/h2>\n

The operation lasts 45 minutes to an hour, and is done either under local anesthesia or under light sedation. The care and follow-up are identical to those for upper blepharoplasty.<\/p>\n

In a few months, the eyelid regains a more youthful appearance and the heavy and tired look of the eyes improves.<\/p>\n

Blepharoplasty of the upper and lower eyelid can be considered separately or simultaneously depending on whether the aging is manifested on the top, the bottom, or both sides of the gaze.<\/p>\n
