Do you plan to lighten your dark circles?
Dark circles give a hell of a look of fatigue. As a rule, they are due to poor blood circulation. However, there are several discolorations and several causes that add to this blood circulation problem:
- Blue / purple dark circles, mainly due to the extreme thinness of the thickness of the skin which lets the muscles show through,
- Red circles with blood vessels, appearance of blood vessels which gives this coloration,
- Dark circles / dark circles, generally of ethnic origin therefore genetic.
There is no age to have pigmented dark circles, but the problem worsens with time, old age, fatigue, stress and an unhealthy lifestyle.
The daily approach
Concealer is surely the best known complexion correction product. As its name suggests, it is supposed to erase the traces of fatigue and provide fresher air. The skin around the eye is sensitive and marks easily. So, to avoid drying it out and marking fine lines, creamy concealer is the most appropriate.
The medical approach
Injections of volumizing hyaluronic acid will be used to thicken the very thin skin of the lower eyelids, and thus camouflage the muscles and blood vessels. These injections cannot be done on the upper eyelid, at the risk of causing them to fall on the eye due to the weight of the hyaluronic acid.
Peeling and fractional laser are also techniques that can be used to leave room for new skin devoid of melanin.
